IVF Stages

IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a treatment method that increases the chances of pregnancy for couples who have little or no chance of conceiving naturally. In the IVF procedure, the egg cells of the prospective mother are stimulated with hormonal medications, then under anesthesia, the egg retrieval procedure is performed. After th,s procedure the collected eggs are then fertilized in the laboratory with sperm obtained from the prospective father on the same day. Among the embryos formed through this method, the highest quality embryo is selected and transferred to the uterus of the prospective mother.
